Ways to prioritise reading across the school
A consideration of adequate pace and progression in the teaching of phonics
The application of skill and knowledge in reading
The use of environmental audits and how they can enhance provision
Ways to develop a love of reading across the school
Using audits to support planning for next steps and whole school improvement
Using tracking documentation to ensure early identification of pupils who will need additional support
